Fred and I Welcome You!

Even though you are 30 feet from our home you have privacy!

Fred and I both have traveled around the world and in the United States, so we are very familiar with how we like to be treated.  When we started our own Airbnb we knew the importance of staying in a clean, comfortable, safe, and quiet place. So, we treat our guests the way we want to be treated when we travel, which is with respect, good communication, clarity of expectations, and integrity.
We are LGTBQ welcoming. We accept all races, religions, and cultures.
We have been Airbnb SuperHosts for 24 quarters,  of which I am very proud! When Fred's son went to college in 2012 we turned two bedrooms into Airbnb rooms in The Slater House in Historic Ladd's Addition in South East Portland.
In 7 years we hosted 2000+ guests from 21 countries, sleeping next door to our guests. We had a blast meeting people from around the world and 99.9% of the guests were lovely.
In 2019 we moved to the Woodstock neighborhood. We bought a home that had a guesthouse, which we re-designed and named Under The Cedars Guesthouse, as Cedar trees shade it. Then Covid19 came and we then rented to Travel Nurses for 15 months until May 2021.
As I place my energy to grow my energy, coaching, and healing business, I turned to Itrip.net for management.
I have been friends with Corey and Ryan Tigner, the owners for several years. They will treat you well.
If our schedules match it would be nice to meet you and maybe share some wine and a few stories.
Thank you for choosing our guesthouse.
If you need anything to be happier do let Corey or Ryan of Itrip.net know.

What our guests say...

The VRBO home is in a quiet neighborhood in Woodstock.  The unit,  was very clean, organized, and had a very nicely equipped kitchen--Better than other households I stayed in. The house is stocked nicely with plenty of bathroom towels and I like how there is a couch that is relatively comfortable to lay on.  Jan. 11, 2023 Cam P.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It was a cozy guest house with great amenities. The washer/dryer being included was a great touch. And we loved how close we were to Trader Joe's, various restaurants, and easy access to the highways when we were out and about."

Nice little home on a private, residential street. Well stocked and clean, with easy parking. Host was communicative and responsive.

What a wonderful place to stay! From the thoughtful layout to the well-stocked kitchen, this cottage is designed for comfort and easy living.  It's a quiet neighborhood, but so easy to get anywhere I want to go, on foot, by car, or by public transit. I would come back again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much for an enjoyable stay! Leila reviewed on March 18, 2022
